Luis F. Silva Echeandía was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Economics from the University of Puerto Rico - Río Piedras, and a Juris Doctor from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico School of Law. He also furthered his studies at the Complutense University of Madrid, Spain Business School.

Distinguished by his dedication, sharp problem-solving skills, and solid academic background, attorney Silva Echeandía brings over five years of experience handling First Party Property Insurance claims and litigation. He has successfully defended policyholders against major insurance carriers in Puerto Rico, consistently achieving positive outcomes for his clients. Additionally, Luis has worked at an Insurance Defense Law Firm in Tampa, Florida (USA), giving him valuable insight into both sides of the legal process.

Luis is also a member and volunteer with the American Bar Association (ABA) - Young Lawyers Division, Disaster Legal Services Program since July 2022. He has provided free legal assistance to survivors of natural or other disasters in cooperation with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to help survivors navigate the aftermath of presidentially declared disasters.

Outside his legal career, Luis was a member of his college men’s tennis team and continues to play tennis at a high level. His favorite quote, from the legendary Roberto Clemente, guides his personal and professional life: “Any time you have an opportunity to make a difference in this world and you don’t, then you are wasting your time on Earth.”
